What's so great about this Chore Chart Maker, I've seen plenty on the web?
CPP's Chore Chart maker is a Christian Chore Chart. You'll be able to choose from a selection of related Bible/Scripture verses to place on the chart. Also, Sunday was designated as a Day of Rest, in hopes that children can begin to learn and understand about taking time to replenish with the spirit of the Lord. And finally, as a personal touch, there is an option to include images on your chart with corresponding text. This is helpful if you have children that cannot yet read, they'll be able to read their chart with the pictures, and learn the text as they go.
Can I remove the Day of Rest? Or Change it To Saturday/Another Day?
No, sorry. There is no way to change the day to another, or remove it. It was written into the script this way for printing/simplicity sake. I realize that people observe the day of rest on different days, CPP doesn't want to get into any theological debates about which day is the day of rest, it was placed on Sunday and it'll probably stay on Sunday. I appreciate everyone's opinion on the matter, and if you feel you'd like to discuss this more feel free to email me.
Will you be adding anymore Pictures for the Images?
If your desired chore isn't on the list, I am sorry. I tried to think of everything that I could for what would be appropriate for a preschooler to do in the house. If you can't find an image specific to your chore, I'd recommend choosing to make a custom list instead, and taking the time to draw pictures in with your child. They'll have fun with this and surprisingly remember them better!
What can I do if it's not printing on the page correctly?
Everyone's printer is different, and combine that with the fact that your creating a custom chart, it makes it difficult to provide an answer. There is no One answer for this problem. However, First I would try to change the page layout to Landscape form. You can usually do this from your page setup or print set up in your file menu. Second, depending on your chart, make sure you don't have too many chores on your list. For your child's sake, and your printers (tee hee)! The recommended amount is 5 chores for best quality printing. Third, if you're still having trouble, I'd try decreasing the font size of your selections, or maybe using Weekday abbreviations instead of the whole word.
