Born in a Manger Craft
This is a fun craft where children can color the
manger, and then cut out Baby Jesus and glue him
on top of the hay. Then decorate a blanket for him (or
provide scrap cloth) for the children to cover him up.
Goes with the Christmas verse. "She wrapped him in
cloths and placed him in a manger" Luke 2:7

A Savior is Born Christmas Card
These are cut and paste Christmas Cards children
can make to give to someone who doesn't know
about Jesus, or why we celebrate Christmas.
Children glue a picture of Baby Jesus inside the card
with the verse "A Savior is Born"

"The Good News" Paper Towel Roll
This is a fun craft to use with the story of Paul, from
Acts Chapter 9. Children color the newspaper then cut
it out and glue it to a paper towel roll. After drying, let
them use their newly made "Megaphone" to spread
the Good News to others!

10 Commandment Train
This is a great craft/activity for children to learn the 10
Commandments. Each box car includes one of the
commandments, and the engine car has the verse
from Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he
should go, and when he is old he will not depart from
it."

Optional Ideas: Send one train card home each day,
so child can put on their wall. Have children decorate
the cars differently, using a different coloring medium
(crayon, marker, pastels, paint....ect)
Make sure you have a matching Bullitin Board in your
classroom!

of different ages. You can adapt this idea to other
themes as well.....make a sun or a flower for learning
about Creation......glue a cross in the middle and
write "He is Risen" for Easter crafts. You can just add
the verse you want them to learn in the center!

Snip-And-Tell Bible Stories By Karyn Henley / Group Publishing Each Bible story has a pattern for you to fold and cut as you tell the story. The figures you create are key parts of the story. Many patterns are photocopiable---to let you practice cutting and telling the story ahead of time---and patterns are easy to follow. The solid lines show you where to cut, while the dotted lines show you where to fold. And discussion questions about the story allow you to get the children involved by having younger children help tell the story if they know it, or having older children help cut and fold the patterns.
