Resurrection Craft
Children can retell the story of Easter with this craft.  Have
them color and cut out the Rock, Angels, and Verse "He is
not here, He is risen"  Glue the angels and Verse to the
tomb, and attach the rock with a brad so that it can open.
Invite them to share their Easter story with a friend or
family member.
He is Risen Craft
This craft is really easy, and lets children go home with a great
message to share with their family. He is Risen! The perfect craft
to do around Easter time, simply requires the two templates
provided (print on card stock for best results) and a Popsicle
stick or a ribbon. Children color the pictures and cut out Jesus.
Staple the ribbon onto Jesus and insert him into the tomb. As
you read the Resurrection story with your children, let them pull
Jesus out of the tomb on the third day!
Empty Tomb Craft
This is a fun craft for children to learn
and understand the the awe of that first
Easter morning. First, let children color
or paint the plates brown, or grey to
represent the tomb. Then have them
color and cut out the pictures. Glue the
Soliders to the back of a plate, and
Fasten the plates together with a brad, so
that they create a pocket (tomb) and the
top plate can swing open. Then as you
retell the story, show them how to open
up the tomb, and surprise, "He is not
here, He is Risen...Just as He Said." Use
that verse everytime you open it up, and
soon your children will know the verse
and the meaning!
