Bible Wheels to Make and Enjoy
By Carmen Sorvillo / Concordia Publishing House
There's learning at every turn with these interactive stories. Fun-to-make wheels are an easy way to teach children the sequence of events at the Creation, or even to remind them that God's promises, fulfilled at the first Easter, are still true today. Each wheel is made from two reproducible patterns that children ages 5 to 9 color, cut, and assemble. A window in the wheel reveals the turn of events in 30 Old and New Testament stories. These projects are a great way to reinforce any Bible curriculum. Scripture references are included to encourage families to read the Bible's account and learn together.

Nativity Puzzle
This is a puzzle activity where children can cut on the
lines, mix up the pieces and put it back together.
Makes a great gift to include in a Christmas Card to
child's friends or family. You could also print two
copies and use as a matching game for younger
children.

Creation Memory Match
These are printable cards for Memory Matching, or for
playing concentration. Children match the correct
Day with what was created. If you have older children
or a large group, you could print multiples to play a
longer game.

Clothespin Sheep Match
This is an activity that works on color recognition and
motor skills. Children match clothespins to the
sheep with the correct color word, giving the sheep
legs to stand on! You'll need to color/paint the
clothespins beforehand (using primary and
secondary colors), but once their done it would make
a great game for children to play.
You could also do this as a craft, each child could
color their own clothespins with crayons, and fasten
them to their sheep. They can make their own heard,
and pretend to be shepherds looking after their
sheep.
Thanks to our CPP member Nan for suggesting this
great idea!
